From 29 August 2025, the US suspended the de minimis exemption for all low-value imports to the US. As a result, all goods valued at $US800 or less will be subject to country-specific tariff rates.
What are tariffs?
A tariff (also known as an import duty or customs duty) is a tax imposed by a country on imported products. This increases the cost of imports compared to domestic products. Tariffs are typically collected by an importing country’s customs authority when products cross borders.
How much is this tariff fee?
We have been advised it is 10%, plus a $3AUD processing fee from Beyond The Willow Tree.
For example, the value of your order is $500USD, the fee will be $53USD.
What this means for out US customers?
If your order is worth $800USD or less, we are required to collect taxes from our customers and pay this to officials.
We cannot ship your package until this charge has been paid via invoice as customers are responsible for their countries tariffs.
How will we collect this payment?
Prior to shipping your package we will use tools issued to us to quote the amount due and issue you an invoice for this amount to pay prior to sending.
Important
Orders valued over $800USD that are due to be sent after August 29th 2025 will be charged this fee.
