Mail suspension updates due to COVID-19

Beyond The Willow Tree is still fully operational during this global pandemic, and moving through our 9th year of business we are reminded of what an honour it is to be entrusted with your most precious of inclusions, more now than ever.

Please find updates on any suspensions below

  • There are no other suspensions which have impacted us or are aware of to date, both to and from Australia (12112/21)

Sending from the United States using USPS

Unfortunately, the USPS postal system has temporarily suspended some mail services to Australia. This could effect the way you send your package to us. 

We have found that packages sent to us in a ready post bag which costs approx $18.21USD takes around 3-4 months to reach us at present - Usually it would take 3 weeks.

During this time, some current customers have chosen to send their packages to us using USPS International Priority Mail Express which arrives typically 14 days.This option is not suspended.

Please note, we can still send your completed orders to you without any issues from Australia to the US.

You can find relevant pricing on the USPS website HERE - You will see pricing to Australia under price group 6, estimated at $68 USD, for packages under 0.5lbs.

If sending your package to us via International Priority Mail Express isn't an appropriate option for you, you may like to consider placing you order once these restrictions lift, as it will then be cheaper for you to send your materials to us.

USPS's service disruption to Australia affects Priority Mail International® (PMI), First-Class Package International Service® (FCPIS®), Commercial ePacket (CeP), International Priority Airmail® (IPA®) packets, International Priority Airmail® (IPA®) M-Bags, International Surface Air Lift® (ISAL®) packets, International Surface Air Lift® (ISAL®) M-Bags, and Airmail M-Bags.


On our website we state that packages need to be sent within a certain time frame, however, due to these uncontrollable delays, we will ask that you send as soon as this suspension lifts instead.

We ask that if you are sending us breast milk, and you do not have any stored in your freezer at this time, to go ahead and freeze 10-30ml (depending on what your minimum requirement is for your chosen design). This way you will have milk stored in the event breastfeeding coming to an end while you await feeling safe to send to us during this time.


If you have ordered a made to order design, we will have already began creating your jewellery setting. Your jewellery setting will be ready to set with your materials once you send them to us.

In the event we can no longer access a design which isn't made to order, we will give you store credit to make a new order within 6 weeks.

We are not processing monetary refunds as per our usual T&Cs.
